One commenter lamented on the fact that the few "humane" and "gentle" ones out there have to sit and watch this all happening. I think my comment summed up my feelings on this nicely.
"We don't "have" to "sit and watch". We can hide our eyes, pretend it doesn't happen, and go about our happy little lives....
Or we can stand up, speak up, and fight (yes, FIGHT) this type of atrocity.
Do I think we have a moral or ethical right to try to make everyone carbon copies of us? No. But I do believe that we have a moral and ethical right to try to end such blatant cruelty from being accepted and being excused.
Screw being gentle."
