Where, you ask, the Hell have I been?

Answer:

Florida and Back, then work work work school work what-the-hell-Medterms! work work effing-presentation!-Dammit! work work school work work school sick coughing fever so no work now.

yeah. Takes me getting a fever at work for them to send me home, cancel me for a friggin day, so staying at home with a box of kleenex getting caught up.

Shouldn't be like that. I should have regualr days off, to talk to all ya, read what you've written . . .

So happy halloween to everyone. And happy Thanksgiving--yes, I am working that morning, but I've got the afternoon off.

Accounting is getting tough. Missing one class was enough to set me back, but personally, it was worth it.

My business class is . . . amusing. My god, I feel like such a . . . war-mongering freak among all of them. Oh, Takoma Park, thou Nuclear Free Zone, how you brighten my day with your hippies and belief in the objetivity of NPR. Ha!

This isn't to say, mind you, that I'm not a war-mongering freak. . . it's just. . .well, I usually don't feel like a conservative around people. Usually, I'm considered a rather hawkish moderate. I want my guns and my Queer Eye. Make love and war. That sort of thing. But lord, my classmates and professor make me feel like Anne Coulter on a bad day. Which is why I tend to, believe it or not, bit my tongue on a lot of things and nod my head. Not cuz I'm a coward, but cuz I'm tired, dammit. After class I have to go to work, I don't have energy for that.

Still, though, my presentation on Viral Marketing kicked some booty, and they knew it. Why? Cuz there were ninjas involved, and everyone loves ninjas.

and LJ seems to have changed in my absence. I need to explore some of this. . .

school, work
