Going in the Right-ish Direction . . .
My day started out rather crappily. I've been thinking, for over two months now, that the Foreign Service Exam was on Friday, April 29th. So I dug out my "ticket" today, only to read that I was scheduled for Saturday, the 23rd. Yeah, as in last Saturday. I was rather put out with myself, as you can well imagine.
So me and KP carpooled to work and I finally had that conversation with her that I should have had a while ago. It went a hell of a lot better than I'd feared. And no, you can't know what it was about unless you already do. :P
Then there was work, which was okay, except for getting bleach all over myself when cleaning the drains.
Then me, mom, and KP went out for dinner (dad and Chibi were at Awards Night for his school).
So, all good. I'm getting a scratchy throat, but if I get sick, should be better before the performance of the Requiem. Oh, BTW, I got a small solo in that, lyrics something along the lines of: "Sed significer Sanctus Michael, something something lucem sanctam". . . which of course is waaaay cooler than the expected "Pie Jesu Domine. . ." Aria that Kristen got, but which is pretty common to requiems. So whatever, she has an aria, I have two lines. But my two lines are way cooler. . .
Anyway, not much else to say. For now.
