Random Movie Nonsense
I just watched Charlie Chaplin's "Modern Times" and it has some downright clever & rather well set-up moments (this gag with the red flag is among my favorite Chaplin bits ever: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uTQnkDR5wLI). It also has the only time his tramp character ever has any audible speech...albeit in the form of a completely nonsensical song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_du8fjUN0Kg
