I finally found a doctor who would listen to me! I went to Athena medical center because it is nextdoor to my job and I can go on lunch break and I was so happy after my appointment. The doc new exactly what I was talking about. It turns out that that particular office specializes in treating women with PCOS. She asked me a few questions, and even pinpointed things that I had no idea were related to PCOS. She also told me that because of the answers to a few questions that the actual syndrom gene came from my dad but was compounded by genes from my mom's side. I have to go in for tests so that we can find out which type of PCOS I have and what stage I am in. I have another appointment in 3 weeks to discuss my test results. She also gave me 2 articles to read to make myself familiar with the diagnosis aspect and the possible treatments, she also said that it is wonderful that I was talking to other women with it because then I was knowledgable about the things she was telling me. She talked to me about birth control and why the other pills I was on made me crazy lol. She even told me what kind of pill I should take, although I am not starting that until my test results come back and she can decide what other treatment (if any) I will need. If any of you need the number to this place let me know I will gladly pass it on.
