Fantastic. I nearly thought I wouldn't get to see Ida at least develop into a hurricane, thankfully by the time it hit land in Nicaragua it was indeed a hurricane. It only peaked at a category one (for wind speed) but still, what a spectacular sight to behold. The destruction was minimal compared to what it could have been, however, many of those ( Read more... )

And who might you be, little girl? Why are we filtering these comments from Thetis?

Oreithyia. And Thetis would kick and scream at anything I did "wrong" to appear like she gives a damn, but it's a facade. Trust me.

It's a pleasure.

Oh, I happen to know Thetis is extremely overbearing. She thinks it's so simple to adjust to this new life. I imagine school is quite boring for you. Don't let her tell you what to do.

Be careful what you say, even if you filter comments from Thetis, she has eyes and ears everywhere. I think we both know it doesn't take much to set her off

Ugh. I can't go anywhere. She's intent on stifling me.

You know she thinks I corrupted your daughter or something?

How old are you? And have you tried standing up to her?

Nonsense, if anything you're helping Persephone. She needs a friend her own age, not old uncles and those smothering motherly types.

Seventeen.

Well I haven't been able to see her since because apparently I'm enslaved for life.

All you've done so far is complain and I've already asked if you've done anything about it.

You know, Thetis can't force you to do anything.

No. Just three floors down. What's that, like? Eighteen-foot fall?

Of course, three stories up how hard is that? I'm a master of getting into locked rooms, getting you out shouldn't be a problem.

No, kid, I'm Zeus. Anywhere but the damned complex. Next time Thetis leaves for work call me [insert phone number]. She loves her job, so it shouldn't be too hard. Seriously, locking you up like that. What a tyrant. Those motherly types are all the same, wound like tops.
