Holy crap!
Last year at APE, as in over a year ago, I missed my chance at buying Pictures That Tick by Dave McKean because I didn't realize it was out of print. I figured that $45 was a lot of money and thought I could find it for less. Turns out I couldn't find it for under around $90, and more often it was closer to $115, or even more. This was upsetting. Well! Just a few minutes ago I was poking around Amazon, added something to my wish list, and then took a look at my wish list 'cause it's been a while and I didn't remember what was on it. I scrolled down to where Pictures That Tick has been stagnating for a while, and lo and behold, it's availlable! For $26.89! Not like I'm waiting for the free shipping, so with standard shipping it's around $30. Finally I'm getting the book I've been kicking myself for not getting over a year ago, and it's $15 cheaper than the cover price I didn't ever think I'd find it for! You know, today kicks ass. I'm one happy person right now.
