All Call for female extras...
one of the girls on one of my motorcycle forums posted up an all call for some help...
Ningen Manga Productions needs twenty female extras for an initiation/festival scene for it's upcoming feature social horror film, Women's Studies. The scene will be shot late nights during the week of August 6 - 9 in Dumfries/Manassas, VA.

INFORMATION ABOUT THE SHOOT:
Times:
Call time will be late evening (think 6 or 7 pm). First shot will be after the sun goes down (around 8:30) and we'll shoot until approx. 4am and then break for the day. We have to shoot at night, so once the sun starts to come up again, we'll be shut down. Also, we have numerous folks (myself included) who have to work day jobs all week. There will be plenty of down time where folks can catch some sleep, so bringing a pillow and a sleeping bag (to spread on the ground to lay on) is a good idea. Since film is a lot of "hurry up and wait," catching cat naps is easy while the crew adjusts equipment between shots.
Costume:
Extras will need to wear bright clothing. It should be form-fitting clothes that make you look attractive, but also have very bright colors. Not club wear, but think "Rave" or "Festival." Bright blues, magentas, greens, anything vivid. We're going for a Carnival-esque feel. If you happen to have bright pants or skirts as well, that's fantastic. We want everyone to stand out in the crowd.
And we are going for a crowd look in this scene. We hope to have at least twenty extras. The location is very easy to get to, right off 234 in VA. Parking is limited, so carpooling is great if anyone can do it. Parking will be in the homeowner's driveway (though long, it will fill up fast). The scene will be shot in a little clearing surrounded by woods to the side of the house. We'll have access to bathrooms (possibly a port-a-potty), running water, and we'll provide food to sustain everyone through the long night. We'll have bug spray, but if you think of it, bring your own. The grass will be trimmed down and won't be high, but we will be out in the night air with hot film lights attracting bugs.
