Kick-ass music
I’m sooo excited right now, ‘cuz I just bought my ticket to the Beale Street Music Festival weekend after next. It’s part of the annual citywide Memphis in May festival, and it’s the best weekend of music around-3 days of music on 4 stages, with a huge range of music types and everything from small local bands to major headliners, current stuff to bands you didn’t thing were still touring. Last year Billy Idol even showed up, and OMG he was SOOO much fun!!!
Although this year’s lineup isn’t quite as good as years past, there’s still quite a few bands I can’t wait to see. Here’s an abridged list:

Hooray!! Okay, it doesn’t compare to you stinkers out in Calif. who get to see JM (evil, nasty-we hates them!), but I’m still psyched.
