so my mother is doing the 3 day breast cancer walk in san diego come october.
now, no one in our family has breast cancer, my grandmother died too early to know.
but my grandfather died of lung cancer from smoking.
and i smoke.
so i think my mom's just being an early bird and supporting me before i get breast cancer from smoking. who knows.
but that's besides the point. my mother has been walking miles and miles and miles for months now to prep for this thing because she wants to do it for her own health too. and my mom never walks, nor runs, nor does anything save pilates. so you can imagine how blown away we are at this, and very excited.
im terribly poor, but im saving money to help sponsor her. she needs 2,100 dollars by october, otherwise, SHE CAN'T WALK in the 3-day. [i personally think this sucks and is stupid since they charged her a reg fee too.] she's got fifty bucks now, and is a long long way from her goal, so i thought i would throw it out to the masses and gloat about how great my mother is for being committed despite the financial demand.
