Seriously, if you don't know by now which candidate reflects what you want from government, and you need Colin Powell to tell you who to vote for, there's no helping you.
I find this election year really scary, because all the stupid people are coming out of the woodwork. That anyone needs Powell's endorsement to make a decision that could last us not only the next 4-8 years, but longer, makes me wonder about the human race sometimes

Point #1: McCain supporters are so terrified that they are driving around at midnight in the U.P. stealing Obama signs, ours included...
Point #2: Russ had an emergency appendectomy and he has health insurance, but we're still going to owe over $3,000 for it, which we'll be paying off for quite some time.
Why would I want McCain to be president if he's going to take this health care credit and basically just hand it over to the insurance companies, then TAX our employee health benefits. I could go on and on but I love your rant. It actually made me smile :)
1) That's just asinine. I may disagree with McCain and find his supporters idiots on the ground McCain no longer has a leg to stand on and picked a fucking moron as his running mate, but I wouldn't take their signs.
2) Health care is a really lame joke in this country. I've got a cracked tooth, but it'll cost me probably $2000 to have it out, since I don't have health insurance. So, what next?
I voted for Obama yesterday. I'm sure I'm one of the happy few in Geauga County who did, but damn, I really hope Ohio goes blue this year. Everyone else in the office was whining about how their taxes will go up. I think a lot of people are seriously out of touch with reality.
Stealing signs, how mature, people. I sincerely hope some surveillance cameras catch the fools in the act, so that they can be caught, or better yet, posted on YouTube and made fun of. Things have either gone to hell (current state of the world) or it is a good indicator of how extremely desperate the Republicans are to stay in office. My workplace was dropped by MCARE years ago and I have not been able to find comparable health insurance ever since. Realistically, I'd have to change jobs to get health insurance. As for taxes going up, gee, I remember taxes and everything else being much lower back when Clinton was in office. I can't wait until November 5 comes.

People can be as fucking crazy as they want in Strongsville. Cuyahoga County is still going bright fucking blue.
