Problem.
I got home around noon. I planned on writing my French paper as soon as I arrived. Alas, it was far too hot. I ate some ice cream. Then I had some "real" lunch. Then I went outside with a glass of ice water and a book. Then I came inside because my legs were burning up. Then I read some more. I was going to start homework after reading, but I fell asleep. When I woke up, I read some more (productivity, but really just the fun kind). Then I made dinner. Now I'm sitting on the Orange Couch, contemplating homework again.
Here's the thing.
It's gotten hotter. It's probably cooled down outside, but the sun sets right through my living room window. While this room is normally the coolest in the house, apparently it gets doubly as hot during sunset on a warm day. I have the fan set to turn on when the room hits 83 degrees. Well, guess what? It's 87 degrees in my living room and I'm sitting in my underwear and I don't know how in the hell I'm going to write my French paper because all I can concentrate on is the fact that my stomach and my legs and the back of my neck are sweating. My stomach??? Since when does my stomach sweat?!
Fuuuuuuck. I don't even think this counts as procrastinating. I physically cannot start.
Okay, it's only 200 words. You can do this. Dammit.
Maybe I'll take a shower instead. (Okay, that might be procrastinating.)
By the way, looking at knitting makes me feel ill. THAT'S how hot it is.
