Yeesh!!

So I'm looking at my credit card's "spend analyzer" function and in the last 12 months I spent almost $6000 repairing Shadowfax!! Good gravy. I should have replaced him a long time ago. (As a side note, I spent less than that on groceries; and the groceries + misc merchandise (aka clothes etc.) total is just a hair over that number.)

I don't see much in the two years before that, but I think that's because I used to put car repairs on the other card (the one without the spend analyzer function). I know I had to replace four tires, a CV axle, and 2 tie rods (among other things) during that time period--so probably at least another $1500 there.

I (OK, actually Ruth) paid a bit over $3000 for him back in November 2010. It's amazing that I spent over twice his original price repairing him--I should have replaced him a year ago.

Alas.

In any case, I now know where a lot of my savings have gone! This helps me get over the buyer's remorse associated with The White Rider...
