trip prep
I started preparing to install the paneling in family room today, but gave up after lunch--I needed to do stuff in preparation for the trip. So instead I did things like:
I'm sure there's more that I haven't thought of yet. Hmmm. What's still left to do?
- Getting the front drip system up & running. (We've been watering by hand since the sewer line replacement.) Now I feel safe leaving the plants "unattended" for a week.
- Giving the chicken house a spring cleaning so that the person who's keeping an eye on the chickens doesn't get grossed out by all the yucky stuff.
- Cleaning up the back yard and putting a whole bunch of junk out for extra pickup day. (This wasn't strictly necessary for the trip, but my inlaws are showing up not long after we return--we won't have much time to clean up when we get home.)
- Doing laundry so we can pack tomorrow.
- Emailing my sister with last minute plans.
I'm sure there's more that I haven't thought of yet. Hmmm. What's still left to do?
