Had my sinus surgery today.. 3rd one
But this one was a different type of surgery,
I was awake and numbed up but honestly I felt EVERYTHING.
It was pretty traumatic hearing the cracking of metal against the bone in my nose.
Horrifying I felt like I was getting a lobotomy! tbh
I was so fucking nervous I took 2 xanax.. the mg I take is really high so its equivalent to 4 regular ones.
And If I didn't, I'm positive I would have either passed out or have a panic attack.
I had needles and metal, suctions, an inflated balloon type device up my nose/head/behind my eye.
Wide Awake!!!
it was awful. But I must've looked cool on the outside because they were all like you handled it like a boss! most grown men haven't handled it as well as you! lol.
I was in so much pain I honestly think it didn't numb up.. and the dr. said there was a chance of that.
I have a high pain tolerance but that was too much.. traumatizing.
Glad to be home
