yay!! i got docent at queens. which means i will be showing around little kids in the art gallery and doing crafts with them. cool!!!
anyways, the couple days here have been amazing.
yesterday we went to a beach on lido, an island near by. it was so nice and i got a little tanned. and of course we had gelato and a great supper. well the soup was good.
than today we saw san marco. it was so beautiful inside. the church is competely covered in mosiac. i never thought mosica was as amazing as it is until i saw it in person. i always considered it a crfatbut it is really a great art.
last week we saw more mosiacs, ones that influced the san marco.
we also learned little bit about venices history.
oh and saturday we wwent shopping and found the best gelato place.
the course is truning out to be very little time. most days lecture lasts only an hour. and lecture is outside or in churches, ext..
the only problem i have is getting money. i can only take out more than 50€ even though the bank said i would have no problem. argh. need to figure that out. but i won't let it bother my trip.
