Irregardless of what one thought of Hussein, it still looks to me as though he got the short end of an American stick. I would not call his trial (as our "fearless leader" did) fair. I realise fully that the things he did to others in his country were not fair either. Us taking over their country was not fair either. I suppose there is no fairness involved in this case anywhere.

I hope that Dubya is pleased with himself for his actions in Iraq. Eventually, I know, he will get his just rewards as do we all.

I pray that the violence in Iraq does not escalate into something that the world cannot control. I pray too that eventually the world will wake up from its stupor and realize that the American way of life is not the only way, nor neccessarily the best way.

Will the foolishness of this country ever end? Not as long as the cowboy is in charge, and, unfortunately, maybe never. Not as long as the rest of the world slumbers...
