(no subject)
These past couple of days have been a series of ups and downs. During the day Wednesdsay was a definite up for the reason that I got to spend it with Deric. Then, when I dropped him off at his house in the afternoon, there was major down. I realized I was not going to see him until Sunday. So about this not seeing each other thing as much anymore...it's going better than I thought it was going to go. I'm learning to live without Deric...it's difficult, but I'm getting better.
Work on Thursday was fun..I pretty much was the gate supervisor cause Stephanie has no clue what the hell she's doing. She is soooo confused about everything. She ran to my gate about every 10 minutes asking how to do something. She also freaked out many times because she didn't know what to do. I know she will get better eventually, but the only way she will get better is if everyone supports her up at gate, which is not happening. A lot of people are bitter about her becoming supervisor...which, I admit, I was in the first place also...but I realized that it wasn't her decision to become supervisor, so I am trying to help her out. I've heard so many people bitching about her, and it just pisses me off. It's not like Mike is going to reverse his decision about her...so get over it people and live with it!!!
My parents and I went to visit Deric at work tonight. We stayed there for a while, and we got our appetizer and dessert free...clearly, it took 20 minutes for the dessert to come out, which was ordered w/ the meals. That was interesting. I had some nasty ass fish tacos. I should have known by the name, "fish tacos" - how good could those be? eww. But it's ok, I still had my good ol' french onion soup.
I'm thinking of asking Deric to see about getting me a job there. He had a valid point today. I told him that I would only want the job in September, but he said what if they're not hiring then...valid point. So, if I would get hired now (that is a BIG if) I could work maybe 2 or 3 nights a week, and then close to full time during the school year, cause I am for sure not keeping my zoo job during the school year. So yeah, maybe I could get a job at Houlihan's...although I still don't think they'll hire me cause of Deric an my relationship. We'll see.
I'm excited for Sunday when we'll be able to spend all day together. I don't know what we're going to do yet...maybe we should go to Riversplash. I was a little midget the last time I went to Riverspalsh, so that might be cool, but I digress (Mr. G much).
