This is so awesome! I loved seeing Wash's feelings about Zoe and Mal in the early days of their marriage, and you definitely nailed Wash's voice. :D

Hurrah! I'm glad it worked. I find Wash surprisingly hard to write - when I first started writing Firefly stuff I thought he would be the easiest, but actually Mal is way easier. So it's good to know you think the characterisation is successful.

Absolutely lovely! I love the story and the way you write the characters. Love the ending. And I laughed at: fraternising (Mal's favourite word for a month before they married: he never mentioned his family much, but Wash hoped he didn't have any brothers).

Fantastic fic, all around!

Heee! I'm glad you liked :D It kicked my butt from here to next year in the writing, so it is good to know it worked. And as for that joke... I put it down to overexposure to SPN fandom, ahahhahaha.

Thanks so much for organising the challenge - I really needed to get back into writing Firefly, and there can never be too much Z/W fic. I have to go read the other challenge fics now - I have been holding off while writing this as reading a pairing I am in the middle of writing messes with my head a bit. But now it is done and there are lots of shiny fics waiting for me!

Nice use of chinese. And I'm glad that they got a honeymoon. :) I wonder what went wrong at the party though.

Heee, thank you, I'm glad you liked! Especially the Chinese - I really try to make it work as it did on the show. And you must thank my beta for the image of Zoe in Kaylee's dress, as the first draft did not have the 'Zoe getting dressed scene', just a quick reference back to it. My beta said 'show, don't tell' and so I wrote that scene in, and I'm really pleased with it now.
