Note to self: going home for lunch and reading Wincesty fic will indeed make your shitty day much brighter. However, and this is important, it will not leave you fit to go back to work afterwards. You will return feeling dazed and resentful

Yay for brightening your day, but boo for dazed-resentfulness. I think it's awesome that you can manage to get back to work after lunchtime fic. Every time I've tried it, I've been very, very late.
