Ever onward, ever upward
Well, as of yesterday, I have found myself in a position I last encountered a few years after I stopped wearing diapers: I do not have any imminent schooling to look forward to! Will I be trying to continue my education? Absolutely, yes...but probably not for a year or more.
What does this mean? I have to find a job. But in the month or so in the meantime, I'm gonna celebrate by traveling and visiting friends. First up, visiting with my SoCal friend and backpacking with him in the high Sierra. Should be breathtaking...next, I return home for a few weeks, during which the (human) girlfriend will be visiting again before she ships off for a year. Lastly, another trip to visit another friend for a few days.
After that, the cold, crushing reality of work (or unemployment) and paying off student loans. Blech...
