Jaina's finally posting...
Jaina has finally found something to post about, after ages of being absent.
Okay, so one of my friends owns two horses (I shall call my friend Cee). We were at the meeting for our missions trip last Sunday and we were all talking, and Cee invited me and a couple of our other friends to go riding with her and our friend 'En', who works at a stable and rides with Cee a lot. So we all met up at the place where Cee boards her two horses, Sage and Bee. (why yes, I do use letter names a lot; thank you for noticing) There were four of us (me, Cee, En, and another friend, whom I shall call Tall, hehe), and there were three horses that we could use. En wants to be a horse trainer, so she decided to kind of give the rest of us some lessons, which we needed since Tall and I haven't ridden much (I took lessons back when I was like, eleven or twelve, and haven't ridden again more than a couple times since then), Tall hasn't ridden much at all, and Cee is getting ready for a show.
So En had Tall and I practice posting. Good heavens, I haven't posted in SO long. Luckily, I have rather good posture because I do artistic skating (like ice figure skating, but on quad roller skates) and I do Irish step dance, both of which require good posture. Plus, my calves are pretty packed, if I do say so myself, lol, so she moved me on to posting with my hands on my hips pretty quickly.
By the end of the day (which was about 3 hours), both En and Cee said I was doing remarkably well for the amount of time that has elapsed since I'd ridden for any length of time, so I feel that went pretty well. ^^ I'll probably be going back the next time they go and aren't specifically practicing for a show. =D
Annnd... I should probably just give everyone aliases and get it over with, but I'm too lazy. xDDD

And on the subject of applying for internships and whatnot, my mom and I figured it's probably best to wait until I get back from my missions trip, so maybe more updates from me after that. =P
