I just found out around 1:30 today that I got the Internship I've been trying for at Dynetech/Saris. It's a company downtown, at the corner of Rosalind and Orange. It's 40 hours a week, 9-5 weekdays, $10 per hour, and I start on Monday as a Web Design Intern. The internship is three months, and after that if they like me, they hire me as a full time Web Designer. I'm so excited/nervous/thrilled/terrified I don't even know what to do. But this means no more hotel, no more scraping together barely enough to live off of, and best of all- I will be a Designer. I am a designer already I guess, but now it's more official. This is so good.
I kind of feel like George in Seinfeld, where NBC wants him to write the pilot, and he instantly is afraid he'll get cancer or something. But cancer or no cancer, this is a great opportunity and I feel so fortunate to have it.
