(no subject)

So. I've spent the past two days either at work or hanging out with the girls. Which was amazing, as always. Last night after failing to find a Sushi place open after 11, we went to Applebee's and I ate a huge platter of crap that left me with a guilty, greasy satisfaction.

I went home and basically passed out after like 2 pages of Memoirs of a Geisha, which has been occupying like 40% of my awake time not spent with B&E. It's a very enjoyable story. I can't wait for the movie.

The other 60% of away from B&E awake time has been spent trying to figure out how to submit forms to my server using PHP. Or JavaScript. Or .ASP. Or ColdFusion. Or with anything. If anyone knows how to use any of the above, please shed a little light for me. So far in the journey that is *LBP.net I've gotten away with basic knowledge of Action Script and understanding the essentials of Flash. Now, after days of Googling HTML+Forms+PHP+Help, I pretty much want to die. If you have a book on the subject that you'd lend/sell me, I'd be happy about that too. I need to just get my ass down to Barnes & Noble or something and put in some research time. But I'd rather just guess.

This morning it was time for Thrift & Gift V, which is always a thrill. We also went to Goodwill, which ridiculously overcharges on 80's prom dresses, but what can I do? I have to have them. Then it was Fusian, which isn't bad, but Sakura remains no. 1 in the B & E & M guide to sushi dining.

Now I'm at work, I've just wasted 4.5 hours making files called "testform.php" and "testform2.html" and the like, all of which were hopeless failures. So now I think I'm going to take a break from trying to understand 12 different scripting languages at once, and just get back to what I do best, which is design. Hopefully the stick kid page will get up soon. Drop me lines of encouragement, if you'd like.

I hope everyone's doing well. &hearts forever.
