There's always so much stuff to write about. Just a few stuffs:
- Events around the world: mindless misuse of guns by people and by laws. The reality is that guns kill people and people kill people; making one easily available to the other is sheer stupidity.
- Politics: swapping refugees - wtf is with that? To 'rollback or not to rollback workchoices'. And why was Kevin dancing with Kerri-Anne?
- Harry Potter: theories about the final book based on the recently released cover picture.
- Cricket: what was Sri Lanka really thinking? Will it work?
- Media: not for the first time, Alan Jones is getting on my nerves: ACMA wasn't nearly harsh enough in my view.
If you followed any of this (they're reasonably un-tabloid-front-page except the first), you are très cool. [And I would love to have a conversation with you about them. Unless of course you followed the Jones remark and your nerves are still fine - we can still have a conversation but it may get a little *heated*. Or unless you're reading this because you know me in which case we've probably thrashed these out already and you're tired of me. Meh.]
On the other hand: things not to write about (because two of them distract me from one of them, and the last is so mind-bogglingly nauseating that I must live as though it can't really be happening):
- thesis
- guys
- Big Brother
- thesis
- kittens
