Boys Don't Cry
So I'm watching Boys Don't Cry. It's only my second time ever seeing it, and good christ, it's still as upsetting as it was the first time, 7 years ago.
Oh and Hilary Swank rocks my fucking world. She so deserved that Oscar. As amazing as American Beauty was and Anette Benning was in it, Hilary was so beyond words.
Its performances like this that reaffirm that acting is the right thing for me.
On similar but unrelated note, I am so fucking stoked about my directing practicum. I am gonna rock the shit out of The Shape of Things, of course with the help of Neil Labute's ridiculous writing. I went through a bunch of the songs on my computer last night to find music for the scene changes and i think i found some good ones. Right now the list is 6, but i can't use all of them cause i don't want to use 2 songs by the same person/group and right now there are 3 Alanis Morissette songs.
