It was a day
I finished painting the entertainment center today. Bit of a pain in the ass since I ran out of that kind of paint about a quarter of the way through. Had to go specifically to a paint store in order to find something that matched, though I should have done that in the first place. Looks like that's gonna be it for that kind of task. The futon frame remains and will have to remain unpainted for the time being. Tomorrow is basically just unpacking now. Try to get as many boxes emptied out and then broken down as possible. Take the ones we won't need any more to recycling. Yeah.
The mate keeps demanding me to install some kind of light in the entertainment center to shine upon the turntable. Probably a small florescent of some kind seems the most likely candidate.
Then again, there's lights that need replacing all over this place, tubes mostly, with a few incandescents thrown in. The latter I can just replace with the compact florescents I yanked from the Kelly St. house. HA!
But yeah, that's it for now. See y'all later!
And oh yes, if anyone in PDX is around Sunday, I'll be at the Beavers game. Should be an afternoon game, around 2pm or so. Maybe I'll see ya there? Usually get general admission tickets for the first base line. I'll most like be in my red Beavers cap, so that should narrow it down some at least.
By the way zon7 says hello to you all out there as well, and she should be at the game too, along with a friend of ours who's birthday we will be celebrating at that time.
