On the Road Again, and into the ditch.
Well, not quite THAT bad, but yeah. Here I am, writing this post at the Freightliner in Council Bluffs, IA. The clutch brake started acting up, meaning I was having more and more trouble getting the truck into gear from a standstill. At first, I thought it was just the clutch brake, maybe it just needed an adjustment? But no. Broken clutch spring, and more money than I was prepared to spend. I have it, but not by much. Sooooo, stuck here till tomorrow afternoon or evening at best. When I get the truck back I also need to ask about whether the U joint in back of the transmission could have affected the clutch, or vice versa.
I hope I'm only here one night. It's weighing on the mind.
