So...It's arrived.
The new to me laptop is here. No AC adapter, so any plans to work with it are on hold till I get back home. I'm planning that some time around 3/25. It does have a 1TB drive, though when I get back I'll swap that out with the other 14 inch laptop I have that has a 2TB one, and make it dual boot into Ubuntu and FreeBSD then.
I'm starting to find even second generation i7's are starting to slow down even running Ubuntu now, so I'm looking for at least fourth generation processors now. Up next, a replacement for the Toshiba, so at least a fourth generation i7 with a 17 inch screen. Yadda yadda yadda I know...
