The unbearable lightness of impossible dispatches.
With one week to go till vacation(hoofarkinray!), we've been give load after load it seems of sub 1000 mile runs, all with less time than a normal trip plan would dictate that we need. Who TF keeps scheduling these things like this? It's funny. We did one FedEx load down to Orlando, FL with an impossible dispatch, sent in or safe and legal times. They gave us the EXACT same run again later on, and we gave them the EXACT same trip plan as before...and they took us off of it for requiring too much time. WTF, guys. Seriously. Seems like they should have enough data of their own to figure out a reasonable time to actually deliver things like this, or at least enough data on US to figure that out.
