Farkin crazyass week.

Well let's see. The first load on this time out wasn't so bad. It was just a relay out of the Portland OC and down to CA. Now the first sign of trouble was before we even left Portland they put another load on us which there's no way we could have picked up and delivered on time.

This needs a little more explaining. Since the first load had so much extra time on it, we took an extra day at home, which we sorely needed after running in circles trying unsuccessfully to meet up with family. We had a little more time to get packed up and ready. So yay there. It's just that nobody thought to check that we had actually left the OC. If we had left the day before that next load would have been no problem, had we just KNOWN they were gonna do that! So anyway, it wound up getting pulled off of us.

So what happens after that? Of course. A staging load in Hell A. 45 loaded miles. Yee fucking ha. Only when we got there we found it wouldn't be ready for another 2.5 hours, which would once again make us late for this uber-expedited load we're working on now. We weren't given enough transit time, so sent in updated mac 29's with our safe and legals. First it was supposed to be a one stop delivery. Then when we get there, oh nooooo, it's THREE separate delivery stops. Ecccccch. So we're on our way ooothe third one now, after sweating my nuts off in Memphis, TN. Bye bye now!
