• I wrote mini!fics for Elementary, The Walking Dead, The Lito, and an untitled new zombie project that allthelivesofme is starting. So go check 'em out or something.
• Watched Brotherhood of the Wolf again and ahhhhh I LOVED IT SO MUCH MORE THIS TIME. Granted, the last time I watched it I was 14, BUT STILL. I could appreciate the aesthetics and bizarre melange of genres so much more. Still sobbed over Mani (MARK DACASCOOOOOOS) and could not keep my eyes off Monica Bellucci every time she was onscreen -- this was the first movie I ever saw her in, so I hold all other performances up to this.
But yes: gorgeous film in terms of stylization, cinematography, and costumes. And so many good faces! And bods! ARGH.
• Decided that even if the last two unis reject me and my plans fall through, I'm going to just move to Australia and work at this bat sanctuary. Best of life choices, or best of life choices?
• The longer I live at this apartment, the more I long for the day when I can rent/own my own very tiny house that I DON'T HAVE TO SHARE WITH ANYONE, where everything will be super super quiet at all times unless I deem it necessary to have super loud dance parties or TV show marathons. That day will be a great day.
• I almost cannot physically wait to adopt my first kitty-pwroars, COME ON. I JUST WANT CATS SO FUCKING BADLY. I'm going to get two, so they can keep each other company when I'm not home. And I'm pretty damn set on naming one Boudica, but I'll just have to wait and see what sort of personalities they have; gotta make sure my kitties have apropos names.
