BOOKS: 6 (2 new).
TV: 9 episodes (all new).
Clearly, April was a VERY busy month for me (comparison: 9 episodes of TV watched as opposed to the 84 in March, oy vey) and I didn't have as much time to spend on my media consumption. I'm going to try to do better book-wise for May, and up my new count by quite a bit.
