Your eyes are not deceiving you.
There are two -- TWO -- new sections of Weird, USA posted.
PART 75 and
PART 76.
With these pieces posted, I have officially gotten everything I wrote back in November up to be read by you, the discerning folks of my flist. I kept see-sawing between actually posting these bits or just skipping to the next as-yet-to-be-written section, mainly because I wasn't entirely pleased with the writing I managed here (this was the last day of NaNoWriMo and I was E X H A U S T E D). But someone -- I believe it was Lizz? -- requested an Olivia/Robbie scene where she could make sure his intentions with Charlie were "honorable". And I wanted to give Gloria a bit of a wrap-up/final speech before the group said goodbye to her (for now).
I am now going to dive back in and write brand new material. I have two major "occurrences" planned to wrap up the novel (HA! more of a trilogy at this point, amirite?): a short stop at the haunted Winchester House of California, and then off to Seattle, where Robbie's deadly vision may or may not finally come true...
For those of you who have stuck with me this long, and are still interested in my kooky road trip full of ghosts, snarky twentysomethings, and supernatural beasties, I THANK YOU. From the cockles of my heart. I really and truly am grateful for all of your interest and support. and hopefully I can finally finish the "first" draft of this sucker before the NEXT NaNoWriMo. :D
