The Artist was one of the most beautiful and bittersweet and fantabulous films I've ever seen and DEAR GOD, JEAN DUJARDIN, HOW CAN YOUR FACE MAKE ME FEEL EVERY FEELING IN THE WORLD? Also, Berenice Bejo is too adorable to be allowed and Goodman was great and CROMWELL (Ashlee and I were legit teary-eyed just because he's so old, and oh God I'm gonna lose it when we lose him) and UGGIE FOR ALL THE AWARDS EVER, THAT MARVELOUS POOCH. Perfect double billing would be this and Singin' in the Rain for very obvious reasons.
But for reals, people. Go and see this film if you possibly can because you shan't regret it. LAHV LAHV LAHV.
After the movie Ashlee and I went to Flattop Grill, which is a bit pricey but always delicious. But the whole affair was dampened by the fact that we had to wait AAAGGES to first get to our table, and then even longer for our food to come. We saw people who had sat down after us get their food a full ten minutes before we did. I CALL SHENANIGANS ON THAT. V. v. frustrating.
Welp, the weather is extremely rainy and gray and cold. So I'm going to finish doing my laundry, change into super warm jim jams, queue up disc 1 of s2 of Friends, and paint my nails. Hope you all are enjoying your weekends thus far. ♥
