Zombies!!!!
Romero's Land of the Dead is out this weekend. I am excited...I have been waiting for this movie for years. I have just flitted round the net reading various reviews and I havent found a bad one as yet. Apparently it isnt as good or as clever as Dawn..but hey..Romero is the king of the zombies as far as I am concerned. His films are smart and observant. He created the flesh eating zombie as we know them, they are his babies and that means he can do whatever he likes with them. I am a huuuge zombie lover...something I cant quite explain, they scare me, they shuffle (well, they used to!) but they still get you, you kill 20 and there are 30 more to take their place. Part of my childhood nightmares, I embrace them and live with them on a daily basis (not literally, but looking around this place I am not too sure.
So, has anyone seen it? I dont think I am gonna get to see it till next week, I am hoping i can see it on my birthday.
