That's what a bomb exploding sounds like...

I won't even begin about how long my lj has been practically dead zone now... So I won't - but I do appologize for everyone on my f-list *bows*

Since my last entry - and shockingly it was back in January Ö.o - maaaany things happened in my life and in the world.
First and foremost the devastating happenings in Japan - my heart is with all the people there. When I first heard about the earthquake on Twitter an hour after the first quake, I was shocked to say the least. And when Tsunami and nuclear alarm followed, I honestly thought how similar everything seemed to the apocalypse - with all the damage comprimized into on state.

I know a few people living in Japan, and I'm just really glad that no-one of them got hurt. And - as supid and fangirl-driven as this sounds- I'm also really happy that no Johnny's member got hurt too.

I'm overwhelmed what the LJers have done so far in order to help the victims of the castastrophies.arashi_on  and help_japan  are an amazing example for what young people can do to really help - sooo much money was donated already, and it's still getting more.

Btw, if you're interested, I participated in offering my services too (but when I'm posting this, I'm afraid it'll almost me too late to bid -_-) Well, but I guess it's never too late to self-promote a bit >_<

Today was one of the stranger days in my life.

First my Grandparents nearly burnt down their house by forgetting to turn the cooker off... I'm glad I was just one floor above and smelled the smoke on time. But the whole house smelled terribly and the kitchen was black from the smoke - and the smell was really bad too (my nose hurts from it) ('_')

Afterwards monstakarotte  phoned me to tell that there was a bomb warning at the main station of Graz (about 1,5 km from my grandparent's house). Apparently a bomb from WW2 was found by construction workers. Now in my homecity nobody takes discoveries of bombs from the war seriously anymore - in WW2 Graz was a target for aircraftbomb attacks, and some of the bombs never exploded or just weren't disposed of accordingly. Then some bomb experts usually just come and extract the explosive material, but not this time.

They had to evacuate the people surrounding the area of the main station completely to let the bomb detonate - it was too old and damaged to simply deactivate it anymore.

While I wasn't really scared or anything, the whole evacuating was pretty annoying 'cause I had to go to the inner city to a Oishiii & Friends meeting (the Cosplay Showgroup I'm a part of) for discussing our new play. Now try going to the city when public transportation stops and the area near the main station is closed for public... Oh, and did I mention the demonstration in the inner city against budget constraints for the social sector, which was effectively blocking the busses and trams from driving there as well?

In the end I took about 1 ¼ hours for a route that normally takes me ~20 minutes, but I arrived nonetheless. Btw, the chaos on the streets reminded me once again how hopeless the people in my country were in Japan's shoes...

The meeting was funny, we took pictures for our homepage, went through our script (or the pieces of it that exist so far xD) and made buttons *___* I loooove them.
When we didn't even think about the detonation of the bomb anymore, suddenly we heard the explosion. I was kinda surprised concerning I thought it would be some kind of “implodation“ and not making any sound. Later I even heard from one of my Twitter-friends that her windows have broken from the detonation force o.O Luckily there wasn't any great damage done though.

-But it's only in German, so it's not really interesting for you if you don't speak German at all >_<

Soooo, just if you wondered what I did in the last 2 months gone from nearly all Johnny's activities around here, the answer is simple and can be summarized into just one word:

SUPERNATURAL

Yes. I went there. And I love it. But I won't flail about it today - not in this entry at least (too much rambling already for one entry xD)
But I guess if you consider that before January I barely knew that this series existed and now I have watched not only all episodes available around here, but also all new American ones (so YES, I'm up-to-date and already suffering from my first hellatus T_T) I'm quite addicted >_<

But if you want to watch an a*m*a*z*i*n*g fanvid, I can recommend you one:

Enough from me now - but hopefully I'm motivated to write more regularly again ^___^v
