(no subject)
This week is going to be quite the busy time for me. I work 10 hrs today and tomorrow then Thursday we are doing a DJ spot at the Mercury with Chris which should be crazy fun but I'm sure will keep up out late. Then I get to wake up way to early and work another 10 hrs on Friday. Saturday we are going to the Crypticon horror con all day then we play that night at the con. We got a room at the hotel that is hosting it since we play @ 9.30 I think then we have to be at the airport to fly to Denver @ 5am Sunday morning. So since the con is in Seatac by the airport that just made more sense to sleep there for an hour or 2. But still ...being at the airport @ 5am sounds like torture!! Especially since I have yet to sleep for more than 5 minutes straight on a plane in my life. I am sure will play kind of late Sunday night since the Denver Dark Arts fest seems to be quite a lot of local bands with a larger headlining act. It should be fun! We are staying in Denver till Tuesday night and a portion of us are going to the WWE Monday night Raw Tapings... yea fuck you I like wrestling :) We will spend the rest of the time there exploring the lovely Denver metro area.
In other news I ordered a Korg MicroX synth about 3 fucking weeks ago to use at these shows and it still has not arrived. Of course I never have had a issue like this with Ebay ever before but now that I need it on time.. I get screwed.
We did some new shirts too. If there are any left I think we will throw them online and sell them off after we get back. We just did the same design as the "I like it Spooky" girlie's we did but made them regular t shirts with the God Mod logo on the back. They are pretty charming shirts if I do say so myself.
After this I am really going to start writing more for the next God Module. I am slacking like mad when it comes to my self imposed deadline.
I am still trying to decide if I am going to comic con in San Diego this year or not. I am still 50-50 as I write this. But on the bright side there are some amazingly cool shows I have tickets for this summer..Peter Murphy, Nick Cave, Mike fucking Ness!!!
Time to go see if that goddamn keyboard showed up yet..
