So, for the past week or so, I've had a horrible pain on the inside of both my thighs, spiraling up towards my groin. I thought that it might have been a pulled muscle from carrying Avie around. It's generally okay first thing in the morning, but gets worse and worse as I go throughout the day, especially if I have to stand for long periods of time or do activities where I shift my balance from one foot to another. I saw the doctor today, and he thinks it's a bit of my having excessive quantities of relaxin (the hormone which helps prepare your body for birth and allows the baby to pass through your pelvis.) This is causing my pelvis to prematurely separate, which results in my being in agony. The pelvic separation also causes my knees to hurt and my back, due to my spine being out of whack. So he gave me a note saying that I need to spend lots of time relaxing, not do any heavy lifting, and generally take it easy.
I guess I get to knit? A lot.
