D'oh! I'll be at a conference that weekend, so I can't make it, but if Amanda has the day off, I think she'll be there. Give V's hair a birthday skoosh for me! :D

And since I don't think I've said so CONGRATULATIONS! Are you hoping for a boy or another girl or either??

Thanks! Not really hoping for either though a girl would be more convenient theoretically. Twins would be interesting. Just having a rough time initially, you know.

Congratulations!

I understand the midwife thing...I haven't even gone into labor yet and I'm planning on finding a midwife for the next one. The doctor didn't do much but try to scare me every couple weeks and then tell me I was fine at the next appointment. I suppose 38 weeks is too early to start getting impatient.

Thanks. I definitely (if I am able to have a choice) want to stay away from doctors. They are in the business of fear mongering and padding their pockets with expensive recommendations. Whatever you do, don't have a C-section. I'm having a rough time finding anyone who will let me attempt a VBAC in Maine.
