Had a very nice day. It was at least 214 degrees today, so I went to the beach with Julie and Jose. We checked out a relatively secluded beach called Sunset Cliffs that I'd never been too. To get there, we had to take a steep flight of stairs down and then scramble over a lot of really slippery rocks, and getting out, there's a rope that you use to help pull yourself up an incline. Not a great swimming beach, but it's a great location and good for surfing and such. After that I got to meet the girl's mom and sister since they were in town for Comic-Con. We went to the zoo and took advantage of the "Zoo at Night" for the first time this year. I wish they did this year round, because being at the zoo at night is really a magical experience - most of the animals are really active, and it's just a really pretty place to be at dusk.
