I've been eating a lot of soup lately.

Some of you who know me may know that I really don't like soup all that much. It's ok, but it's not something I seek out. I never think "Man, I could really go for a bowl of soup right now." That is not normal. I'm glad you finally saw a doctor. Get well.

Thanks. I don't know what the deal is. I think maybe the stress of trying to get the house ready for guests combined with being sick, still going to work, and being stressed out in general created some kind of uber-illness. Kind of like Voltron.

I often suffer from the same type of malady. However, I've found that in recent years this has been lessened by exercise. I took up running when I moved to San Diego and never felt better. It clears your head both mentally and physically. Now that I'm back in the northeast I've experienced more lethargy, sinusitis, and aches I'd associate with a cold. But I wonder if this is only because I'm not running as much in the winter. Anyway give it a shot. Also, liquor works too! Tecate with hot sauce or a few shots of Bushmills can do wonders.

I've been at the gym 3 to 4 times a week, until this hit me. It definitely helps me feel better, but I guess not enough to ward off these cooties. I'll have to give the Tecate with hot sauce a try.

it works for me. but the tricky part is you get sick, stop working out, get sicker, more depressed, and head into this tailspin. not saying that's your situation but it has been mine. so that's when i turn to the booze. new years 2005 was a good example. i almost didn't go with those guys to palm springs. the previous week i was coughing up a lung and sniveling in my bed. however, once i got there had a few tecate i magically felt better. who knows. take care amigo.
