no one wants to hear what you dreamt about unless you dreamt about them

Last night I dreamt that I was married to a very small Asian woman, and I think we had a baby together. She was expressing to me that she wasn't sure that she wanted to be married, and I said that if it didn't work out, we could always get an annullment. At another point in this dream, I was with a bunch of people and we were trying to find a place to get some food. We came to this place that was packed to the gills with people waiting to order, but what they served was a noodle/soup dish that had these worm/caterpillars in it. The caterpillars would climb up your arm, bite your forearm, and do something to your blood that was beneficial. I was uneasy with this prospect, although everyone else was excited about it, but I managed to finish my food without coming across any of the caterpillars.

I think the first dream definitely has some correlation with things that have been going on with me, but the caterpillar thing is a complete mystery. If you have any ideas, please share.

The weekend was pretty darn good. The weather was incredible and I got to spend a lot of time with friends, checked out the zoo, did some hiking, and probably drank a little too much. Sounds just about right.

In unrelated news, one of my favorite albums of last year was Devin Davis' Lonely People of the World, Unite!. If you haven't heard it, I highly recommend checking it out. Iron Woman and Giant Spiders, especially, are incredibly catchy, dizzingly euphoric sing-alongs that will make your day. Unfortunately, Mr. Davis' touring schedule hasn't brought him out to San Diego, but those lucky enough to be in Chicago are getting treated to a live show every week this month.
