why I have live journal
I resisted for years, but I have a live journal now. But why? Well, there are a couple of reasons. I want to get in the habit of writing on a daily basis. As a student, I have a lot to write, and I often find myself waiting until the last minute to do any of it, so I want to change that habit. I also want a place to organize my thoughts; projects, assignments, etc. Another reason is a new class I have this semester on mass communication and culture, and it seems to me that live journal offers an interesting trend in that area.
Anyway, spent all day in bed. I think I'm coming down with something. Wish I could have made it til tommorrow so I would have had all weekend to be sick, but no, I ended up ditching two classes today.
While exploring live journal, I've come across two communities I might want to join. One is a gasmask fetish community, the other is about zombie porn. This leads me to an interesting question, why, with all the different communities out there, did I only find ones that make me hot? Is the internet really mostly for porn?
