Hanging out at the house. Jessica and I had a good weekend.
Yesterday, we went for a hike out at the Turnbull Wildlife Refuge. The scenery is beautiful out there. Basically 100 lakes within 16000 acres. The one thing we didn't count on: Ticks. We had a few crawling around on us after we got home. We very quickly disposed of them. Now, the last time I dealt with ticks was back when I was a boy scout, and I completely forgot about them. Today was an eye-opening experience. I also forgot how hard it is to kill those things (you simply cannot crush them).
Today, we went to church, then basically chilled out for the rest of the afternoon. I read Dune, while she slept some. I also got some other things done. Wooo.
School tomorrow!
