Oh, Muppets, how I love your music

I've been on a Jim Henson kick recently and want a cd with all my favorite muppet songs on it. Unfortunately they haven't made one yet. So I decided if I was musical and in a band (preferably a rock band) I would do it. Or, better yet, if I had a very good friend who was musical and in a band I would plead with them to do it so I wouldn't have to do any work but still get a cd out of it. I'd still be the one to pick all the songs for them though.

The tracks would be from a bunch of Jim Henson's productions.

Follow Me (Fraggle Rock)
When The River Meets the Sea (Emmet Otter's Jugband Christmas)
Happiness Hotel (The Great Muppet Caper)
Rainbow Connection (The Muppet Movie)
Movin' Right Along (The Muppet Movie)
Just One Person (from a Snoopy musical, not really a muppet song, but they did their own version and I like this song a lot and it's my fantasy cd so I'm putting it in there)
It's in Every One of Us (also not an original muppet song, but again, I like it, my cd)
The Swedish Chef Theme 'Bork, Bork, Bork' (The Muppet Show)

Then I started watching the first season of Fraggle Rock and became addicted to their songs and have been watching all the ones from later seasons uploaded on youtube over and over again. That's when my_evil_sister happened to mention that if she had a band it would play all Fraggle songs and probably be called "Fraggle Covers".

And I thought, "What a great idea."

So here's some stuff I would make her put on her hypothetical cd.

Fraggle Rock Theme
Follow Me (S1 Beginnings)
Sail Away (the moon lullaby) (S1 Capture the Moon)
The Thimble Beatle ( S1 I Want to be You)
Dixie Wailin' (the funeral dirge) (S1 The Challenge)
Sunlight and Shadow (S2 Fraggle Wars)
There's a Promise (S3 The Bells of Fraggle Rock)
Ragtime Queen (S1 Mokey's Funeral)
Let Me Be Your Song (S1 The Minstrels)
Doozer Knitting Song (S1 The Great Radish Famine)

and probably a ton of others that I can't think of at the moment. Plus any stuff from seasons 2,3 and 4 that I haven't heard yet and that is not uploaded on youtube.

music, life, movies
