Why is it so hard to do anything?
Are you afraid he might not be listening?
You said you hate him.
You said you love him.
Maybe he feels the same way;
He could be thinkin' of you every day.
You said your afraid of rejection, afraid to tell him
All the things you think of him
All the things you like about him
All the things you want to say,
But end up getting tongue-tied again.
What if he feels the same way about you?
Shy to say all the things you want to hear.
He might quit drinkin the beer
making him do stupid things that make you turn away
That dont make you feel OK
He makes you question your heart and the way you think about him
Makes you hate everything about him
Only to make you fall again
Into a deep Green hole
Filled with all your thoughts, dreams of the future
Of you AND Green.
