The 20th (Friday) was my birthday. I have now survived for 25 years on this barren rock.
I organized a dinner in Fremantle, followed by ice cream at cold-rock and then a trip to timezone! such fun!
Dinner was nice, i was unable to mingle because of the crowded nature of the place, but the food and conversation with the few friends that i could reach was stimulating.
Timezone was also fun, however, i did have my bag stolen while i was there.
I have since replaced the more important items, such as, the bag itself ($230) a new Ipod ($375) a new sketchbook ($6) new keys ($25) a new book ($20). I have not replaced the stolen Nintendo DS ($300), or the Sony Headphones ($45) yet, but they are on my list. I'm currently running a total of: "$701", an expensive mistake.
On Saturday my parents visited, they were in the house a total of 10 minutes before calling my new housemate
grummbo fat, and accusing
gormand of getting taller.
My parents and I were out and about in the city and while there we visited a music shop. Inside the shop i decided to try my hand at the bass guitar (having sold my bass for food when i arrived in Perth).
It was a like a cat trying to poo with a sewn up bum.
This was extremely disconcerting that i could just forget a skill like this, but not beyond the realm of imagination - considering the current state of my memory.
I'm seriously considering trying to purchase an old bass and start practicing again.
