Ummm stuff
GWAR rocked! I didn't think I was going to
like it as much as I did, but it was really
fun! I am so glad zombie took me to go see
them play! Next time, I will be prepared with
towels on the seats. That way I can get dirty!
I think my dad would really like to see them,
not so much for the music but for the effects.
Last weekend I met with my dad and had good
conversation. I got the films I've done off
my chest, although he had already found out
about one of them. It was good to know that
he is cool with all of them. I also heard
more about what has been going on in his life
since he spilt up with my mom. On Sunday, we
went to the Pecan Street Festival and it pretty
much sucked! The only good stuff that I could
see, was on the side where there was no shade
so I didn't look. I always forget how much I
hate the sun! It totally wears me out and I
get all sleepy.
Lately I have been wanting more and more to
start sewing. My machine is pretty much dead
and my dad recommended trashing it. Now I am
looking for a serger and a sewing machine so
I can make lots of stuff with ease. I figure
if I can get them cheap enough then I can start
making scrub tops and selling them at work or
online. That way I can make the money back for
the machines. I also got a really great deal on
patterns (due to Joann's closing near my work).
I ended up with seven patterns for $10.00. The
register said I had savings of over $100.00.
So now I have a bunch of period patterns. I did
pick up an awesome pattern of a long coat for
zombie. I plan on cutting the patterns in all
the included sizes.
I have been also working on getting my
modeling/acting career started. I am sick of
low-paying jobs where I have to deal with
screaming leeches. So I got my DBA, and registered
my domain name. I also have my composite cards ready
to print. I plan on getting them printed very soon!
I should also get some business cards made, and work
on getting my website built.
