2011 con stuff
Okay so I'm doing a few cons this summer since I'm not moving till later in the summer (or in the fall, ha ha ha still dont know OTL;;;) so I need to make a few new prints for the season. However I have like, too many things I'd want to draw and only a few slots to actually fill to make new prints.
I can't make 10-15 new ones like usual because I won't have NEXT year to sell them as leftovers from the year before, so I can only make like 5-10 new ones for this year.
So...what would YOU like to see as a print this year? New original art? New RE:Play art? New SHC art? or New Fanart art? Any of that shit, just if you'd like to see something gimmie a shoutout on here and lemme know. I'm trying to mesh what other people want with what I want to draw the most to come out with the best couple posters I can.
I ordered my Homestuck bookmarks last night and I hope they turn out pretty swanky, they're double sided so there's only 6 to the full set (each side has a diff. character). I want to do a HS poster too but I'm really torn on who to include. I can't really do all 16 MCs, er well, I mean I COULD, but I think that'll be a really crowded composition, but I don't know who to leave out and who to add. Like if I know no matter who I put on there someone will be like "Awwww but you forgot __________ They're my favorite!" OTL;;; Not sure. Maybe I'll just do one with the kids, but the trolls are more fun.
I'm working on scripting out SHC CH2 this week, so HOPEFULLY I'll be able to update next week, but if not, it'll be new starting the week after. Should I bother making a copybon of the first chapter of SHC? I'll eventually try to put together a real book, but no clue when I'll have the funds for that (maybe I'll wait till Im in Japan so it'll be cheaper and nicer doujin work) but would anyone be interested in a copybon of the first chapter like, now/for cons this summer?
Ahhhhh gimmie input! I don't know what to put together for cons and I'm so time limited I can't afford to waste time on things I won't use/won't sell X_X_X_X_X_X_X_X
